Have been apart of Choi for many years and love all the experiences. Love going to Kennesaw to test and to see everyone at extra events. It's amazing. Choi Kwang Do is about great health with a benefit of learning a Self Defense.

I love CKD to the death of me. I started back in June 2012 and in my first-class I almost literally passed out. Not knowing the Pil Seung spirit was already inside of me I did not give in...I did not quit....I did not break. From that point on I have gained the honor and privilege of becoming an Assistant Instructor and currently, I am an IL Dan (1st degree) Brown stripe. I will continue to further my training in this art which love so much to the end.

Choi Kwang Do has been an awesome experience for our daughter. The staff is amazing and always encouraged her to do her best and work at her own pace, even though she has developmental delays. She earned her black belt and we couldn't be more proud! Thank you for an incredible experience over the last 3 years!!

My kids and I started about 7 months ago. We are always challenged, motivated and worked. We are also always treated with respect, kindness, and given positive motivation to keep pushing forward. I have been especially impressed with the instructors who work with the kids. This can be a hard group to control and focus on the best of days and at CKD, they are absolutely friendly. My kids can see their futures in their instructors' eyes. The adult program is equally strong with classes that push me forward and have taught me so much already. Do not be intimidated by the large building and assume that classes are huge and impersonal. Each instructor we work with gets to know us well!

At first, I was a little concerned that I was "teaching my son to fight", but I quickly realized that I was empowering him to protect himself. From the moment class begins, the students are encouraged to reflect on what it is they are about to do. Together they recite the principles of Choi Kwang Do: humility, integrity, gentleness, perseverance, self-control, and unbreakable spirit. They also promise to "always do my best and never give up, to obey my parents and teachers, to tell the truth and honor my word, to always be polite, to never misuse what I learn in class". Choi is a well-rounded program that encourages self-discipline, teamwork, exercise, and fun! Mr. Nzamba and all the instructors are not only excellent teachers, but they're also professional and caring individuals. I HIGHLY recommend Kennesaw CKD!

My daughter has been a Choi Kwang Do member for almost a year now. I signed her up not knowing what to expect or how she would like it. The instructions have very high energy, are very patient, but most importantly, professional. The kids are taught in a positive and fun environment. The instructors build confidence in each individual and encourage them to work hard and do their best. We love Choi Kwang Do Kennesaw!!!

  Started Choi Kwang Do at the age of 12 and kept with it till I was about 19. This school has helped me become the disciplined and humble man that I am today. The positive energy and love that flows from the school is powerful.   We are semi new here but I already see a difference with my son. The staff is friendly and the Masters are kind and effective.

The instructors are patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and we felt comfortable there right away. At first, I expected the classes for kids to be so big, she'd feel lost in the crowd and not get as much feedback she might need, but they break into smaller groups and get individual attention. I love that the schedule has plenty of options, too, so it was easy to work the classes into our week. My daughter was hesitant to start CKD (we made her sign up primarily for the practice of setting goals, working hard, and then meeting those goals because she needed a challenge), but she's happy there now. She likes the instructors, has made friends, and she's learning a lot. Can't wait to see how she progresses over the next few years.

My son has started the class a little over a year now and he loves it. The classes help him with focus and discipline and I see the positive impact on him at home. The instructors are very friendly with kids and the staff at the help desk is very professional.
